Reverend Isaac Langley
A white pastor and founder of The New Day Temple, (a church with a foundation predicted upon underlying concepts of White Supremacy).
“Through these characters, Legion initiates and incites racial unrest and dissension to levels which pull the most reserved into participation.
As a central character, Legion surfaces to unite the following characters into a satanic trinity.
A white pastor and founder of The New Day Temple, (a church with a foundation predicted upon underlying concepts of White Supremacy).
Black leader of a nationwide drug gang called the “Slicks” and son of Cora Lee. Dexter who is possessed by Legion.
Biracial chairwoman of the American Euthanasia Association. (Voices of the Seven Thunders also projects that by the year 2028, no cures will have been found for cancer or AIDS and thousands will lean towards euthanasia as their “dignified right to die.”)
The theme of the book revolves around how racism is used as a satanic tool to make the conditions ripe for the advent of the anti-Christ.
A natural-born writer who honed his craft against the weight of pain — and still found his voice.
Lloyd Howard Carter was born in Columbus, Ohio, in 1947, the third son of James Carter and Mattie Teague, who was born deaf and mute. As a child, he was embarrassed to invite friends over because his parents couldn't hear or talk. That pain of their handicap drove him for a long time; he became bitter and developed a complex about it. That pain weighed heavily on his heart & because he blanked it out and refused to face it, his options in life were limited. Rather than develop his potential, he tried to destroy it and everything around him.
Selected passages from Voices of the Seven Thunders — a glimpse into the world Lloyd H. Carter built.
“Don’t get me wrong, people. I don’t want to mislead you into believing that the tables were always set for me. I clearly remember the morning when I walked to the other side of town to join the Boy Scouts and was told that I couldn’t register because Smokey the Bear wasn’t about to disgrace himself by shaking a Black boy’s hand, but I kept my dreams alive. I can still see the long, saddened face of a fifth grade teacher who told me that I couldn’t enter the city’s Science Fair Project because I didn’t have the substance to compete with my White brothers and sisters, but I kept my dreams alive. I can still hear the laughs and cackles of my high school counselors when I expressed an interest to enter the University of Alabama on a scholarship level, but I kept my dreams alive. And when I graduated from the University of Alabama—”
“Su tsniaga ssapssert ohw!” Standing behind a silver platter mounted on an inverted cement cross, the seven-footer waved its hands over a circle of thirteen candles and picked up a goblet made from a goat’s skull.
“Drink! And live in the trinity!” the seven-footer commanded and handed him the goblet. As the thick, warm fluid trickled down his throat, a bluish-green stream of smoke rose from an open grave and drifted high into the night.
“Esoht evigrof ew sa!”
He closed his eyes as the other figure sprinkled a foul-smelling substance over his head.
“Sessapssert ruo su evigrof dna!”

What beta readers, authors, and editors have said about book one of The Voices Of The Seven Thunders.
"Voices of the Seven Thunders"
I couldn't put this book down. The dialogue feels real, like you're eavesdropping on actual people, not reading scripted lines. The action scenes hit hard and clear. I saw every moment in my head. The opening assassination? Pure tension. The bar scene with the electric eel? Weird and unforgettable in the best way. And that graveyard finale? Genuinely chilling.
Donald Dexter is the heart of this story. His doubts, his fight, his political fire. I cared about him immediately. This is Book One of a four-book epic, and it sets up something big. Biblical prophecy, racial tension as a weapon, a three-way trinity of power. Carter isn't playing small.
